"AIRWAY MANAGEMENT IN UNIQUE CIRCUMSTANCES"

This collaborative training is presented to support all local responders in an effort to enhance patient care and on-scene skill levels. Program partners include Emergency Services of Barron County, MCHS-Barron, Lakeview Medical Center, Cumberland Hospital, and WITC-Rice Lake.
This five (5) hour training is designed for EMRs and EMTs to practice airway management in difficult field situations, such as unusual patient positioning, mechanical entrapment, confined spaces, etc. Additional classroom instruction will include managing complex patient social barriers and enhanced interpersonal communication skills.

*Presentation followed by four (4) hands-on field scenarios
*Please wear clothes that can get dirty during scenarios*
$20 for non-members of Emergency Services of Barron County
*Free for members of Emergency Services of Barron County
Lunch will be provided to all attendees at no additional cost.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Local and regional pre-hospital personnel from EMS, fire departments, and first responder agencies.
