House Fire in Cameron
Emergency crews managing a structure fire in the 2600 block of 14th Ave in Cameron. Passing motorists are asked to avoid the area until all crews have cleared the scene.


Boy Scout Troop Conducting Search & Rescue
Boy Scout Troop 59 (Turtle Lake area) is conducting a practice search & rescue exercise on the north side of Skinaway Lake in Turtle Lake this afternoon. Members from the Turtle Lake Fire Department, Cumberland Ambulance, and Barron County Sheriff's Department provided the Scouts with training and education this morning, before the boys set off to find their missing victims. Local motorists are asked to please use caution when driving through the area.

Local business hosts a fundraising event to support first responders!
On September 9th 2017, business owners Ellie & Ron Fogelberg of "The ER Bar" at 54 S. 3rd Street in Barron held the 1st annual End of Summer Fun Run and raised $500 for Emergency Services Barron County! Mark your calendars! The ER Bar will be holding this event every year, on the 3rd Saturday in August to support our team, and promote the safety and well being of our community members. Thank you for your support and community involvement!


2-Car Crash with Entrapment

Barron, WI Emergency crews responded to the intersection of 17th Street and Hwy W in Barron for a two-car motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Both drivers were extricated from their vehicles and both flown to trauma centers in Eau Claire by Lifelink and Mayo helicopters. Responding agencies include Barron Fire Department, Gold Cross ambulance, Lakeview ambulance, Lifelink helicopter, Mayo helicopter, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Barron County
