Haunted House Donation
A special thanks to Jurinda Hetchler and family, who held a fundraiser at their Haunted House (27 N 5th Street, Barron), and raised $200 for Emergency Services of Barron County!


Sedan vs Dump Truck
At 2:30 on October 20th, a two-vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Hwy 53 at 26th Avenue. One driver was flown to Eau Claire, while the other driver was released. All lanes are open at this time.


Tractor Trailer Collision
At 7:45am on October 17th, two tractor trailers collided in the median on Hwy 53 at 26th Avenue. No injuries were reported from the drivers, and emergency crews are currently onscene. The southbound lanes will be temporarily closed while the tractors are removed from the median.


Donation from Living Water Church
A huge thank you to Living Water Lutheran Church in Cameron for their generous donation of $247.00 to Emergency Services. We also want to send a very special thank you to Cali Romsos for coordinating the event. She may be young, but she's determined!


Tanker Rollover in Rice Lake
In the morning of October 6th 2017, emergency crews responded to a tanker rollover in the 1800 block of 19 3/4 Ave in Rice Lake. The road was temporarily closed, and the driver was transported to a local medical center. The incident is now clear and traffic is reopened.


Motor Vehicle Crash in Cameron
At 8:10am on October 6 2017, crews from Cameron Fire, Lakeview Medical Center, Cameron Police, and the Barron County Sheriff's Department responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident at Hwy 8 and Creamery Road in Cameron. All drivers were transported to area medical centers.

Car Accident Closes Highway 53
At 8:10am on October 5th, a two-vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Highway 53 just north of 26th Avenue involving a tractor trailer and passenger sedan. The southbound lanes were temporarily re-routed around the incident, and northbound was reduced to one lane until emergency crews cleared the scene. Both drivers were transported to area medical centers (one was flown to Eau Claire), and the highway was reopened at 10:45am.
